This is small collection of desktop pattern clippings to replace the pict resources I had previously posted as 1950's style ppats . These need no knowledge of resedit.

These textures are some textures I have been working on for the past few years. I have tried to stay away from overly complex textures that give you a headache or cause you to hallucinate if you look at them for more than 30 seconds. These textures can be used for long time periods without fatigue or aggravation.
Best Embossed Textures

Best Embossed Textures (47 desktop patterns) 47 desktop patterns for use with monitors displaying at least thousands of colors. This collection is a subset of several volumes of my patterns and needs Texture Installer 2.1 from the Desktop Textures Suite to use. A wide variety of styles and colors is represented. These patterns are, of course, free and may be distributed freely.
Buttons

"Buttons to go" a package of GIF icons depicting the alphabet from A-Z and 1-0 with ? and !. Should be placed in either the arts or graphics directories. Each icon is 41 pixels square and approximately 700 bytes in physical size. Read the included "Readme.html" file for further information.

'Celtic' Patterns is a ResEdit document containing a collection of ppat resources based on Pictish and Hiberno-Saxon knotwork. The accompanying Simple Text file explains how to install them into Desktop Textures.
Desktop Countertops 1.0

The Coach Collection of Desktop Countertops is a selection of about 25 patterns scanned from countertop chips obtained at my local Home Depot. The package is designed to be used with the application Texture Installer and will probably not work with the Desktop Patterns control panel.
